DELE (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera)
The DELE Spanish diplomas awarded by Instituto Cervantes are the best way to officially demonstrate your Spanish level proficiency and are accepted by thousands of Institutes and organisations across the world. DELE diplomas are required for many international jobs however they can also be a great way to personally challenge yourself to improve your Spanish.
DELE exams are based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and are consequently offered at the following levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 with A1 being for absolute beginners and C2 meaning fluency at an academic level. Most organisations only ask for B2 or C1 but please confirm what is required for you.
The exam consists of 4 sections: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. TOEFL
Here at IE we take care to ensure our students are well prepared and know everything they need to before taking the TOEFL exam. This begins with a free evaluation of each student’s level to determine if they should start with a preTOEFL course that lifts their English level to that necessary for studying the TOEFL or, go directly to our TOEFL preparation courses. All our preTOEFL and TOEFL courses are on an individual basis so you are able to choose your own schedule and have one on one lessons with our experienced teachers.
There are many ways to study for the TOEFL, and we endeavour to make sure that your lessons are as fun, dynamic and constructive as possible. Being sure to development the 4 skills of Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking, we provide a variety of methods and media to practice these essential skills.

IELTS
Despite IELTS not being offered in Bolivia currently, here at IE we successfully prepare a high number of students to sit the exam typically in Argentina or Peru. While it is similar to the TOEFL exam there remain a number of key differences that our experienced teachers are able to help with.
The main difference being that the speaking section is more conversational and consists of a series of questions that you will be required to respond to between 2-3 minutes each. The examiner may also ask additional follow up questions so students will need to be prepared to talk at length about a variety of topics and defend their responses.
Additionally, unlike the traditional multiple choice questions formats of the TOEFL reading and listening sections, there are up to 14 different types of reading questions and 6 types of listening questions in IELTS. You can feel confident that our teachers will help you understand and feel comfortable with each and every one.

CAMBRIDGE
Cambridge Assessment’ offers a range of English proficiency exams from PreA1 Starters (YLE Starters) to C2 Proficiency (CPE). Our experienced staff at Instituto Exclusivo are able to prepare you for whatever exam you need; however, students should be aware that not all exams are currently offered in Bolivia.
Our classes are prepared and given in a way that are interactive, dynamic and efficient. Our native speaking teachers are able to cater lessons according to your specific needs and learning styles. We adopt a range of methodologies and media to ensure you achieve your linguistic goals.
We offer free evaluations to determine your English level and then proceed accordingly. This may mean you will have to undertake initial courses to bring your level to that needed to understand and prepare for your specific exam. We are able to access any gaps in your English and ensure that you improve at an acceptable pace. All our Cambridge Assessment preparation courses are on an individual basis so you are able to choose your own schedule and have one on one lessons with our experienced teachers.

MICHIGAN MET
The Michigan English Test (MET) is a widely accepted accreditation that is used to measure language proficiency in social, academic and workplace contexts. It is an alternative to the TOEFL or IELTS exams which are catered more directly towards university applicants. The MET is applicable for those wishing to advance their careers or seeking employment in jobs where English is a requirement.
There is a 2 skill (Reading and Listening) or 4 skill option (Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing). Rest assured, our experienced native speaking teachers will be able to prepare you for which ever one you need. The MET is based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) which arranges language proficiency in the following manner: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 whereby A1 indicates that you are a beginner and C2 means you are fluent in English. The MET is a 1 test fits all that can be applied between A2-C1 levels. For A1 and C2, it would be better to elect for a different test (see Cambridge Assessment or TOEFL, IELTS).

SAT
The SAT exam is an admissions test to assess suitability for Collage/University education in the USA. It is a requirement for all US students to enter University and is sometimes a requirement for International students (Not always - please confirm your specific requirements, you may only need TOEFL or IELTS).
It consists of 3 main sections: critical reading, writing and math. Apart from the essay in the writing section, the majority of questions are multiple choice questions. Students will need to have a upper intermediate to advanced English level in order to be able to succeed in this exam. But don’t worry. Here at Instituto Exclusivo, our experienced native speaking teachers will be able to help you.
First, you will receive a free English level evaluation to determine language gaps and areas that need to be improved. We will then create a program entirely catered for you, your needs, your learning style. Our teachers are well versed in a number of methodologies and media to ensure that lessons are fun, dynamic, constructive and efficient.
