My name is Luis Oporto Barriga. I studied at the faculty of Linguistics and Languages of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA) in La Paz and I have been teaching Spanish for about 5 years. I normally work focusing on communication and on tasks, even if this sometimes depends on the characteristics of the students. In any case I try to develop the 4 skills in my classes: speaking, listening, reading and writing. On the other hand I also include playful activities in my classes such as listening to music or playing to learn in a fun way. One of the things I like doing is talking to students about general topics, culture or politics.
When I am not teaching Spanish I spend my time with my friends or my family. I listen to music all the time and I watch films. If I have any time left, I do some sports.
