The importance of experiential classes
Learning a language has always been challenging for students because they have to learn grammar and develop the four skills inside and outside of the classroom. Many students follow a traditional learning method and sometimes this gets a bit tiring and they don’t always get the chance to test out what they’ve learnt.
Being in real-life situations during the learning process, will teach students how to handle various scenarios that they will encounter, such as dealing with the present or future tense in a language. Because of this, it’s vital to offer experiential classes to students, because we help them to interact with the world through real-life situations and learning the vocabulary that they’ll come across day to day.
For instance, through activities like visits to the market, shopping centres and daily places that you frequent in any city. Or doing the shopping, going to the pharmacy, getting to know the different types of shops where the students can be in contact with the language, including seeing elements of the city: traffic signs, posters, and so on.
Within the classes, you can experience real-life activities, such as following a recipe and applying everything you’ve learnt. For example, the vocabulary of kitchen utensils, the names of foods, cleaning activities and expressions you can use in this context to reinforce your knowledge the language.
These activities make you apply everything you’ve learnt in a real and spontaneous way, which makes it a unique and fun experience.
